■What is die-sinking EDM?

When the workpiece and the electrode are brought close to each other in oil
and a voltage is applied to both, an electric discharge is generated.
This heat melts the workpiece and engraves it in the shape of the electrode, which is called electric discharge machining.
The electrodes mainly use copper tungsten.

■What is WEDM?

Setting the workpiece in oil, electrical current is discharged between the brass (or tungsten) wire and the workpiece, hence enabling cutting and contouring of workpiece by moving the table it is set on.
The workpiece can be contoured according to the set numerical value, and the machining accuracy is good and unmanned machining is possible.
