We have solved the problems of our customers through high-precision and complex machining that utilizes precision carbide machining technology. In particular, we succeeded in small hole EDM with a minimum diameter of 0.07×H0.8mm and diameter 0.125×H10mm. In our processing of diameter 0.15×H5mm, we are now able to finish the inner surface with surface roughness Ra0.04. We will continue to take on the challenge of processing that is generally considered to be highly difficult.

Our cemented carbide processings that have solved problems

Everloy has solved customer's difficult problems through cemented carbide machining. Here are some examples of our processing.

1. Example of ultra-small hole processing with a hole diameter 0.070mm

   

   

   This is an example of small hole electrical discharge machining with a processing shape of diameter 0.07×H0.8mm. In this case, the required specifications were severe, so it was necessary to process with the minimum electrode diameter. Machining with the smallest electrode diameter causes various problems such as easy bending and rapid electrode wear. However, our experienced and knowledgeable processors solved all the problems and met the customer's request.

2. Example of 10mm deep hole processing

   

   

   This is an example of small hole electrical discharge machining with a processing shape of diameter 0.13×H10mm. In this case, the processing depth is 10 mm, and advanced technology and knowledge are required, so it is necessary to find the optimal conditions for small hole electrical discharge machining. Based on the processing data and processing know-how of similar shapes that we have cultivated so far, we set conditions for all patterns such as electrode diameter and processing direction. This is an example of meeting the customer's request by selecting the best conditions.

3. Groove gap W0.070mm fine comb blade processing example

   

   

   This example is a form grinding process with a groove gap of W0.070mm, a comb tooth surface with L&W of 0.020mm, and a tooth depth (height) of h0.2mm. In this case, it was necessary to meet the high-precision required specifications, as well as to select the optimal grinding wheel shape and processing conditions. In order to minimize the dimensional difference between the groove shape in the drawing and the processing shape, we repeatedly checked the processing shape, dressing the grindstone, and adjusted the axis in advance to optimize the grindstone shape and processing conditions. As a result, we were able to manufacture products that met the customer's requirements.
